Welcome!
Hot off the quirky press, the Birdies Be True 2027 calendar is now available for sale. Proceeds from this calendar will go to...
The calendar features 12 wondrous human birdies who have volunteered to creatively interpret their chosen native Australian bird for this project.
This calendar also features beautiful original illustrations of each bird by artist Alex Childs, as well as important environmental and Indigenous dates and the 7 Wurundjeri seasons throughout 2027.
Shot at Kurrum (Plenty Gorge) and sustainably-printed.
This independent calendar project is produced by Naarm-based creative artists Alex Childs and Rose Gonzalez. Thank you very much to Danny White and Marina Pizzotti, for taking birdie photos and for the design of the 2027 calendar ❤️🔥
